The weight of the moving parts is reduced to 1% of traditional designs, minimizing vibration during equipment movement and wear of related transmission parts, improving stability.

    The electrode wire loss mainly concentrates in the rough machining section with large current and wide pulse width. The electrode wire loss in the semi-finish machining section is about one-third of that in the rough machining section, and the loss in the finish machining section is less than 0.001m. By adopting segmented cutting, after long-time machining, the electrode wire surface in the finish machining section can still maintain good roughness and roundness. Therefore, this machine tool can compensate for the defect in traditional medium-wire EDM machines where long-term electrode wire loss leads to reduced workpiece accuracy and surface roughness, achieving machining results comparable to slow wire EDM.
