Innovative invention, durable. Traditional machine tool wire storage motor is installed on the outside, driven by the screw rod rotation under the drag plate to move the drag plate. Over time, this causes wear on the rotating parts, affecting the stability of the machine tool. Our new middle wire EDM does not move left and right but rotates forward and backward. The entire wire feeding mechanism and wire rack are integrated. Especially the important machine tool component—the wire storage mechanism—has advantages, greatly reducing wear and vibration during movement, improving stability, and significantly enhancing the quality of processed products.
Segmented cutting, precision guaranteed, reducing electrode wire consumption. Traditional machine tool wire storage is one-time and cannot be divided into zones. This causes high molybdenum wire loss during high current rough machining, resulting in high molybdenum wire costs annually. Our design uses segmented cutting; during processing, the wire storage can be divided into two zones: rough machining and fine machining. The processed product uses electrode wires from different zones for cutting, reducing electrode wire consumption and saving molybdenum wire costs. Our middle wire EDM performance rivals slow wire EDM but at a much lower price.
3. Automatic wire tensioning function. Our machine uses a constant tension structure, maintaining the electrode wire tension during processing without the need for manual tightening as in traditional machines, thus improving efficiency.
4. Traditional machines use ruby nozzles and ruby wire guides; we do not use ruby nozzles or ruby wire guides, significantly reducing the annual cost of nozzles.
5. Simple operation. Ordinary machines require threading the wire to the left side of the machine to fix the electrode wire. Our wire storage and operator angle are parallel, so the entire threading process requires no movement, improving efficiency.
6. The annual operating cost of middle wire EDM is 1/6 that of slow wire EDM. Therefore, our reciprocating wire cutting method maintains the original advantages of low price and low operating cost while possessing the high precision and good surface finish of slow wire EDM.
7. Clean and beautiful, safe operation. Ordinary machines have split-type covers. Our machine adopts a new fully enclosed shell, integrating the wire feeding mechanism and wire rack. The electrode wire path is fully enclosed, preventing splashing of working fluid during processing, making cleaning easy and appearance simple and beautiful. It also saves space.
